DARREN RYDSTROM
Director of Photography

Darren Rydstrom hails from the Black Hills near Rapid City, South Dakota, whre he shot his first films with an 8mm movie camera. He has since worked with Van Carlson, Jost Vacano, Berhard Auroux, Pierre Rouger, and Chris Magee. He has also shot concerts and music videos for Sheryl Crow, Chris Isaak, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, the Polyphonic Spree, and The Eagles. DEAN HILL
Editor

Dean has acted on stage, in films, and on television. He was hired once to rewrite a movie script and did a hell of a job, but the picture was never made. And he wrote last year's unproduced horror/comedy classic, RV Park Massacre (inquiries encouraged). He has also written many outstanding Country & Western songs which have never been professionally recorded. Oh, yes, and there's the editing. In addition to "Bringing Up BayBay", the short subject movies Mr. Hill has edited include Mark Rizzo's "Karaoke Boy, Karaoke Man", Alex Leydenfrost's "Thank You, Jesus", Kenneth Heusey's "Then Again...", and Yvonne Farrow's "I'd Rather Be Dancing". Currently, Dean is writing a feature-length screenplay about a fringe fascist religious sect which takes over the United States government. Someone said of it recently, "It's the most true-to-life docudrama I've read in years!".

PERRY ROBERTSON
Sound Editor

Perry Robertson's love of sound began early, since supplying music and sound effects for high school plays. He's mixed the sound for everything from Taco Bell and Pepsi commercials to live TV sporting events -- NHRA drag racing, Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros football games, press conferences, and Barney shows (yes, THAT Barney, the purple dinosaur!) He has supervised the sound for the P-B-S series "Wishbone," and his Sound Editor movie credits include "Ray," "Bourne Identity," "Any Given Sunday," "Love of the Game," "Blue Crush," "Windtalkers," "John Q," "I Am Sam," "300 Miles to Graceland," and others. He has also won a Golden Reel Award from the MPSE for editing on "Black Hawk Down," and has an Oscar nomination for his work on that film. http://www.earcandypost.com
